The short version: we collect as little as possible to make city discovery work.
What we collect
Search queries and basic usage events, used to improve result quality and coverage. If you grant location access, your approximate location is used on-device to centre the map and feed — it is not stored server-side. If you join the waitlist or contact us, we keep the email address you provide.
What we don't do
We don't sell personal data, run third-party advertising trackers, or require an account to browse and search.
Cookies & storage
CityLens uses browser storage for preferences (theme, saved places, recent searches) and standard infrastructure logs (Vercel hosting, our API) for reliability and abuse prevention.
